Yes, we offer learning support for students who need extra support and a special education program for students with special needs.

Learning support offered

ICS offers a learning support program for students in need of additional academic help within the mainstream classroom. Our specially trained learning support teachers come alongside the regular homeroom teachers to help our students succeed. The learning support teacher may meet one-on-one with a student one to three times a week (about 20 minutes each time) to work on specific learning needs.
ICS has a program for English speakers, in the elementary to high school age range, who have greater learning needs such as students with moderate disabilities. This special program includes functional academics and life skills, and is designed to meet the unique, individual needs of each student. The students are with the special education teacher for core classes such as reading, writing, sciences, social studies, and math. As the student is able, he or she may join peers for some less academic classes such as art or physical education.

Because of the varying times that international families moving to Bangkok throughout the year, we do consider applications for international families outside of the application cycles and also for mid-year enrollment. However, this can only be done based on seat availability, which changes year to year and grade to grade. Please contact Admissions to see whether there is availability for your grade interest.

The teachers start their morning duty at 6:50. am. After school, elementary students can wait for their parents at the elementary office. The office closes at 3:30 pm.
