Yasmina British Academy has very limited resources to cater for children with special needs. The school generally does not accept children who have a 'statement of special needs' or require one-on-one support to access the curriculum. Students with an individual education plan will be reviewed carefully and will have to undertake an assessment. |

The PE and sport programmes at Yasmina are an integral part of the school experience and are considered vital to a student's development. Students are involved in sport at a recreational level, in school competitions, inter school sport tournaments and international tours. PE students follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales from Foundation stage through to Year 11. At KS4 students follow the Edexcel GCSE course and at KS5 we offer diploma and subsidiary BTEC Sport at level 3. All pupils have two hours of PE a week which is taught by a specialist teacher. More than 60 per cent of Year 10 students every year take part in the UK accredited Sports Leadership award. Special provisions are in place for the school's gifted and talented athletes. |
