About the school

Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

Montessori British School students are nurtured to become independent, self-confident and responsible individuals who follow traditional values of respect, honesty, empathy and global awareness whilst acquiring a life-long love of learning.

Teaching approach of the school

At our school we follow the British National Curriculum but our teaching approach is different as the majority of our teaching and learning is online. We teach and learn using the internet; through individual or group video calls, webinars, or messaging platforms.
We use a myriad of resources such as presentations, lesson plans, worksheets, videos or audio lectures as well as creating plenty of oportunities for the students to take part in discussions, research projects and debates. Differentiation and personalisation still at the core of our teacing approach even though the environment is digital. We place more focus on the students' overall wellbeing before focusing on the academic success.
