The school itself is alright but looses a lot of value when you take a look at the prices. In comparison to local schools in the area it's incomparable when it comes to resources and the staff is well aware of that so they implement predatory pricing techniques and take advantage of this. The school atmosphere is also quite lacking. Under the guise of independence they tend to leave children to fend for themselves instead of adequately supporting them. This becomes a large problem and is evident in their IB Diploma curriculum. Intelligent students are left to their own devices because "they're smart and will figure it out". This is not the way to go as they're still teenagers and need a reliable figure to guide them, not to encourage bad choices. I had my son complete his education here from nursery to IB and from what I saw from him and his classmates, their achievements were truly their own as teachers would often be late, not offer support with assignments and postpone meetings and marking until external deadlines were too nearby. We also had a lot of issues with administration, having to chase them down for language certificates that they wouldn't give out as they wanted to keep them until they could be used for promotional activities for the school.
Whilst the education level was quite high, it always felt like we the families were second place to any financial gain they could make. The school would focus more on children that were marketable and would participate in things they could post in social media. Additionally, facilities for early years and their events are made more to be pretty than functional. There's a huge emphasis on early use of technology as that helps differentiate the school but we didn't find it out to be positive in the long run because the teachers are not careful with the use of tablets in the classroom. Having a tablet at an early age with social media can be very harmful and the school doesn't seem to worry or care about that aspect. During the time our son was there, there were no talks to students about internet safety or being aware of social media addiction even if students were interacting freely with strangers on forums and platforms.
Over all the school's main issues can be attributed to a lack of care for anything that isn't monetary.

Great teaching staff - It is important that they are UK trained and approachable. My two children often didn´t want to come home! The school food has improved after feedback a few years ago and results are very good. Students go all over the world to study. Highly recommended.
