As a parent of a student in their first year of a two-year A Level course, in Business, Spanish, Math and Geography it has so far been really positive.
Switching from a Spanish state school after completing the Spanish education system was a big change for her, but she has adjusted well thanks to the supportive environment, and friendly atmosphere.
One of the 'stand out' things about this college is the small class sizes, this enables the teachers to give each student more attention, helping them learn and grow.
The students all get along, despite coming from different backgrounds, which creates a friendly and inclusive community. The teachers are great too – they're professional but also really approachable and friendly, which makes a big difference.
Overall, we're really happy with the education and support received at O'Brien's, and we're confident she'll continue to do well here.

The school is very good on the whole. overall however the best part of the school is the support that teachers give the students especially to me as I aim to achieve very high grades in mathematics and further mathematics which may not have been possible in other schools in the area. Thank you john and the staff 🙏

My daughter is now 18 and I have forgotten how many schools my sweet and sensitive daughter has been to.
Usually at interview the headteacher promises so much . And the school sounds perfect for her but when she starts it is nothing like they described.
My daughter has a super high IQ and an incredible unique mind. I was beginning to think there were going to be no A levels and therefore no university. Which would be a terrible shame as she has so much to offer the world.
Unusually O’Brien’s school is exactly what the head teacher says it is.
John O’Brien has spent hours talking with me , trying to understand my unique daughter so that A ‘ levels are accessible to her.
It’s only November , but so far so great !
The teachers have also understood my ... read full review

Highly recommend the O'brien school, our son loves it here.
It's small and friendly and all the teachers are amazing and very welcoming.
We decided to send our son here after he struggled with the Spanish school system and it was the best decision, we made.
No more dramas before school drop off, just a happy child 😀

The absolute best school out there!
Our kids are finally excited to go to school in the mornings.
Amazing teachers and administrative staff who will really go that extra mile to make your child feel comfortable and help them get where they need to be academically and socially.
I cannot compliment this school enough.

As a mother of an IGCSE student, I highly recommend the O’Brien school for those who are looking for a school with excellent communication, fully qualified teachers who are so professional. My daughter attended another international school in San Miguel and it has nothing to do, now we can confirm that we made the best decision.
John runs extremely well his school and not as a business at all. He encourages all the student whatever their capacities in order to succeed.
Teachers are very human, dedicated and work in team so that students learn in very good conditions.
The school deserves much more students, thank you !
