Is the school ready to use virtual classrooms when needed? (e.g. teaching lessons online if the school is closed, e.g. during COVID-19 closures) |
During COVID-19 we were able to deliver our entire learning program online to all students in the form of video tutorials, live streaming lessons, access to external apps and software to aid in the learning process. |
Do students practice religion at the school? What religion? |
As a fully registered school in Indonesia we are required by government to spend 30 minutes a week learning about religion. We offer religious studies on the 5 main religions practised in Indonesia: Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam. Families can choose which religion to learn about. Note: WE DO NOT ACTIVELY PRACTISE RELIGION at school - we simply learn about the different teachings. |
How does the school accommodate non-religious students or students of a different religion? |
Students are required to spend the time learning about their chosen religion each week during religion classes. If the child or family are not religious, that is OK. However we ask the child to simply learn about the different religions for their knowledge only. Again there is NO ACTIVE PRACTISING of religion at school. |
