About the school

Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

KIS International is a welcoming and vibrant community. The lush campus sits on more than 25,000 square meters, spread across six buildings. Its distinguished architecture is home to 750 students from 52 nationalities, all of whom are welcomed, valued and respected.

Our curriculum is the full continuum IB programme that includes the PYP, MYP and DP. Starting in the 2022 academic year, we are the only school in Bangkok to offer all four IB programs including the IB Career-related program. Our IB exam results are consistently strong, with students scoring well above the global average. This is thanks to a challenging, well-balanced and differentiated learning experience that students receive in our intentionally mid-sized school.

KIS students go on to top universities around the world. The critical thinking and problem solving skills they develop in the IB prepare them well for their academic and professional futures.

Teaching approach of the school

Our IB Programmes are inquiry based. The students learn through the IB in the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme and Career-Related Programme. We have always been an IB World School and many of our staff members have roles with the IB.
