Homework builds a student’s responsibility for their learning as well as lifelong study habits. TSIS requires students to do an age-appropriate amount of homework. The amount varies between learning stages. Typically, Junior School homework is to reinforce what children have learned at school and does not require parental assistance. (although parent interest is valued). Senior School homework is intended to provide students with opportunities to refine and extend their knowledge. Entry evaluation for students |
All students meet with school leaders or admissions staff during the admissions process. The school requires recent school reports of each new students. From Year 1, all new students sit for age-appropriate pre-tests to help us ensure that our school can support their learning needs. Students accepted in Year 7 and above also sit for the CAT4 examination (Cognitive Abilities Test). Results of the exam provide teachers with background information about the new students and help them to set appropriate goals for the new student. |

We have a 'wait-pool' for students to enter several Year Levels. Our wait-pools do not operate on a first-come, first served basis. Rather, school leaders consider various factors including language, nationality and gender balance in the class and siblings enrolled at TSI. |

TSI is a thriving, family-orientated school, with a incredibly strong sense of community. There are 35 nationalities across our two campuses (October 2024). We employ highly committed, western-qualified teachers who deliver the English National Curriculum using engaging inquiry-based teaching strategies. With an exceptional team of teachers at our Secondary School, students have achieved excellent IGCSE and A-Level exams results in recent years and are now studying at universities all around the world. In August 2025, we will open our second Primary School at the TSI Bearing Campus (*current secondary school). The existing TSI Primary School campus is conveniently located in the Wongwianyai District of Bangkok. First-time visitors to the school often comment on the school’s friendly environment and the genuine happiness of the children in our care. TSI is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).
