ASCIS has been teaching the International Baccalaureate ® (IB) since 2012 and is one of the 20 schools authorised in Spain to teach the complete IB Programmes, the IB Continuum. Starting with the Primary Years Programme (PYP), it gives transition to the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and ends with the Diploma Programme (DP). Throughout the educational journey, its methodologies are applied to offer the IB Continuum from Infant through to Baccalaureate. As an IB World School, it provides the opportunity for research, reflection, activity and creativity in a constant process of improvement and aims to form students committed to their future and that of the world around them.

Teaching approach of the school

We believe that each student is unique and everything is a learning opportunity for them and, so they can be guided correctly, they receive a personalised attention in a welcoming and stimulating environment with affection and respect, taking into consideration their pace and needs. Continuous and individualised tutorial action forms part of the day-to-day life of our students. The vocation to learn is one of the pillars of our educational project and is instilled in the attitude of our teachers. As an IB World School, we offer high quality professional development activities to our teachers who regularly participate in workshops and training days to remain at the forefront of education, optimising resources and preparing students for the challenges they will face in the future. Students are at the very core of our education project and our main priority every day.
