Education Project & IB Continuum
The school education project focuses on three fundamental pillars with the objective of change the paradigm in Education: Factfufness (critical thinking based on evidence), Exponential Science, and Change Makers. Apart from the well-know diploma programme, the school also offers the Primary Years and the Middle Years Programme, validated by the IB organisation. St. Peter's is the only school in the city of Barcelona that offers the IB Continuum with English as the main language of instruction.
Our Students achieve university level language qualifications: they leave school with Cambridge Certificates in English, Level C in Catalan, Spanish proficiency level, and DELF B2 in French.
Campus
St. Peter’s School’s spacious and modern campus is designed as a wide and diverse space for learning.
Every corner at St. Peter’s is part of the education scenario, and you can find groups of students working at each of these corners. Including the Dining Room, which has recently been redesigned with the idea of fostering social interactions among our students. As well as the Main Library, that is a space to meet, study and work. There is also a PYP library where students share their love for reading in their morning book clubs and other activities.
Labs & Library
Our goal is that our students switch on their learning mode and never turn it off. We want to help them build and enhance their learning abilities, while enjoying this process. Our objective is to instill in our pupils a passion for learning, a permanent curiosity about the world, others and themselves.
To aid on that, our campus includes a library and four different labs, starting with a special Lab 0-5 for Foundation Years, and including a Robotics cave, a Biology, Chemistry and Physics lab.
Sports Facilities & Playgrounds
Our students and families deserve a hub in which to thrive, discover new talents and passions, practise sports, develop new skills and enjoy.
Our three sports courts are the perfect space to practice different sports and at the same time, enjoy the views of Barcelona. An indoor gym complements the sports facilities, while the outdoor patio and playgrounds complement the warm environment of the the Nursery classrooms.
