Shuren-Ribet has wi-fi access available throughout the campus and has a 1:1 laptop to student requirement in the American High School, which it is discussing extending into the middle school. All students in the American High School will be blogging, using wikis, and social networking with their peers around the world as one indication of their progress toward their learning goals. Students will be using online research tools extensively in all classes and contributing to online discussion about issues confronting our world. In a very real sense, the classrooms extend far beyond the campus to the world community, and Shuren Ribet is preparing its students to seamlessly enter university life and the work force and to provide valuable contributions in so doing. |
