LEAP (Learning English for Academic Proficiency) Program: The goal of the LEAP Program are to help all non-native English speakers access high levels of academic learning and to prepare students to study at an English University overseas. This program differs from other ESL programs in that it uses a research-driven, proven academic language assessment to determine student proficiency and it uses data to serve students effectively taking into account their strengths and weaknesses. Yu Yue Program: As an immersion bilingual school, Daystar encourages equal use of Chinese and English languages. Daystar expects its graduates to be excellent English and Chinese speakers after graduation. To achieve this objective, it has specially tailored courses for students in Grades 2-5.
