Yes. All our class teachers are from Switzerland and have obtained their teaching qualification in Switzerland. They speak German without any accent or dialect.

In August 2017, the Swiss School Beijing opened its doors as the German language section of the Western Academy of Beijing. The school offers EY-G5 classes at the moment and will subsequently roll out a new class each year.

Students applying for admission at the start of a new school year are encouraged to do so before 30th of April. Places will continue to be offered after 30th of April, right up to the start of the school year, but the later an application for admission is submitted, the more likely it is to be waitlisted.

There is a canteen, which provides healthy food for the students. Costs for a meal are around 30RMB.

There are plenty of choices every day. The canteen is equipped with microwaves, so students can bring their own food as well.

Our After-school Activities (ASA) program runs three days a week for three sessions per year and offers an opportunity for students starting from Senior Grade 1. Students have the opportunity to choose from more than 75 activities falling under these main categories: arts, information communication technology, environment, dance, sports, chinese cultural activities, and languages. . Parents can participate in our "parent link" community. School events take place throughout the year.

Sports are included in the school curriculum thrice a week, (2 PE, 1swimming). Starting from G2, the school offers various sports activities during lunch time under the frame of "Olympics Dreams Series". Many sports after school activities are offered on campus.
