1st grade no homework, 2nd grade 10min each subject per week, 3rd/4th grade 20min each subject per week, 5/6th grade 30min each subject per week. There is no over night homework in the Primary. In the Secondary it starts with 30min min each subject per week and raises to 45min per subjects. We provide homework workshops during the school day in Secondary School. |

Teaching approach of the school |
We teach the students to be their best self. We treat them as individuals and also support them in this way. Diversity, Individuality and Equality are very important to us, which we also reflect in our teaching. German and math lessons are usalising Freiarbeit a reformpedagogical approach which teaches students to self reflect and become independant learners. In English and the Sciences we learn more project based. The school has various overseeing topics throughout the year which give a guideline for all subjects. We use the Berliner Rahmenlehrplan (Berliner curriculum) and the UK National Curriculum. |
