Freie Schule Anne-Sophie has set itself the goal of teaching children and young people how to use digital media responsibly, critically, and creatively.
For this purpose, the learning partners are provided with a personalized iPad (1st-9th grade) or a MacBook (10th-12th grade) by the school. Digital media tools are introduced in a guided and age-appropriate manner. As the learning partners advance in the grades and show responsible use, they are able to use the various digital media tools with increasing independence.
Each classroom has an interactive whiteboard or projector, Apple TV, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
In addition to the regular subjects offered in the Berlin curriculum, the learning partners take ICT (Information and Communications Technology) from the first to the tenth grade and in some classes also media studies. Additional upper-level courses with a focus on "digitalization" and numerous media clubs round out the wide range of courses offered at FSAS.

It is a bilingual all-day school with classes taught in German and English. A beautifully designed learning environment promotes self-organized and goal-oriented learning. Another focus is on teaching media literacy as well as the responsible and creative use of digital tools and programmes.

FSAS is a bilingual school covering the full span of primary and secondary education, up to the Abitur (roughly the equivalent of A-levels or Advanced Placement). FSAS provides full-day teaching in German and English, and the students, or “learning partners” as FSAS calls them, learn in a multicultural community. This gives them a global perspective from an early age, and enables them to achieve internationally recognised standards of education. As a state-approved independent school, the Freie Schule Anne-Sophie Berlin offers the opportunity to take the Mittlere Schulabschluss (roughly equivalent to GCSEs) and the Abitur.
