The goal of Student Success Center is to cultivate “self-directed learners.” This means that students are supported in learning how to self-advocate, seek help, and take responsibility for their own workload. Our primary population are students with diagnosed learning differences/challenges, but our center will be open to any student seeking academic support. |

Students live in Back Bay in two contiguous historic townhouses that have been purposefully converted to dormitories, two blocks from our academic buildings. Students are walking distance to museums, shopping, sports events, theaters, universities, and more. It is a location like no other! Seven live-in dorm parents, all of whom teach and/or coach at Newman, ensure the safety and well-being of boarding students. |
