LEAF Academy is definitely one of the highlights of my education. The school offered me great autonomy, flexibility, numerous opportunities, and a caring and loving community. Academically, LEAF has a variety of classes (AP for upper school) from humanity to STEM. I got to pick the subjects I'm truly interested in, and challenge myself with subjects I'm not familiar with. The extra curricular activities were also well designed. I actually had my first hike/camping with LEAF. I worked as a teacher assistant with the Character Development department, and I can say that the teachers are really open minded and they're actively adapting to students' needs. Opportunity like this and many other career related support definitely helped me get a general idea of what I'm good at and what I'd like to work in the future. Most importantly, I think the students are who that made this school wonderful. Everyone is motivated and hard-working with a lot of great ideas. You really see students bond together and become this loving community.

A truly transformative experience.
As an alum, I believe that LEAF prepared me for what lies ahead more than any other school possibly could. There is always a lot of opportunities and fantastic people. It is definitely worth it.
LEAF Academy however is not an easy school. The AP curriculum is combined with multiple other classes and extracurriculars, which can lead to a heavy workload.
The only thing I believe needs some work to make the school even better is the proportion of international students and the university counseling program.

Transformational experience. LEAF Academy helps students mature academically, professionally, and emotionally. The people behind the academy, as well as it's faculty is extraordinary on a global level and unparalleled in CEE.

Friendly teacher-student relationships, great classes (more focused on humanities than on STEM but you can still find almost anything here), some very very cool and driven people (might be worth coming here just for the network). A lot of entrepreneurship and business opportunities, workload and curriculum is very customizable, and because the school is new and small, if students are unhappy about something, it actually has the potential to change.
Location is great, we're in the capital city so lots of opportunities outside of school (and you will mostly be supported in pursuing them).
Downsides are too many rules (comparing it to a non-residential public school so idk if it's really that bad) and too much stress (you really need to watch your mental health, many people struggle).
I guess you could flip it and say it's a very motivating and competitive environment, which i... read full review
