Information technology plays an important role in the daily life of students at BISB, whether it is learning new skills in ICT lessons, using technology as a tool when working on other subjects, using the school learning platform, using email to communicate or accessing the internet for information. BISB is equipped with a high capacity wifi network which enables access to the Internet anywhere in the building, we have 2 ICT suites and numerous portable devices to support learning. Students in years 2 to 9 have access to their own school iPad for use as a tool in school. The iPads will be used to facilitate collaboration, research, multimedia presentations, translation and an understanding of the capabilities of mobile technology. Older students are increasingly encouraged to bring their own portable device to use as a tool for learning. |

Our students enjoy the benefits of a range of facilities. BISB is located on three campuses in Dúbravka (north-western part of Bratislava).
Some of the facilities are: large and airy classrooms, primary library, STEAM room, 6 modern well-equipped science labs, 1 special ICT room with film technology, large library with dedicated areas for IB students and a suite of computer for research, Creative Arts centre with music rooms, drama and dance studio, design&technology room, social area for students, gym, 2 bubble gyms in winter, fitness area, all-weather sporting surface, basketball courts, 200-meter athletics track, half-size Astroturf football pitch, 1.296 m2 outdoor field providing a wide range of sporting opportunities (including football, basketball, tennis or badminton), playgrounds for the younger children, multipurpose hall/theatre.

In Years 10 and 11, students study for IGCSE certificates. In Years 12 and 13, students study for the IB Diploma. This is a challenging two-year course of study which, if successful, culminates in the award of the IB Diploma. The IB Diploma is one of the most highly regarded programmes for entry into universities across the world.
We place a high value on our Enrichment Activities in both the Primary and Secondary School. Enrichment activities are designed to give students the opportunity to try new things, learn new skills.
We have an extensive enrichment programme which offers activities for everyone to become involved in. Whether you enjoy sports, performing arts, culture, well-being, STEAM or service, there will be something for you to enjoy.
Students also have the chance to participate in high profile events such as the International Award, the Tanzania Expedition, Young Enterprise Award, and Maths and Science Challenges.
