At BEPS we regard technology as an integral part of students’ learning. From Reception upwards, the children visit the Computer room once a week (in half class-sized groups). Here they develop their skills at their own level. When appropriate the children also have the opportunity to use our bank of Chromebooks and iPads in their classroom. |

Yes. Online learning was implemented for all year levels during the COVID-19 quarantines. Platforms: SeeSaw for Early Years, Lower School and Year 3, Google classroom for Upper School, Google Classroom and ManageBac for Secondary, ManageBac for parents. These are used alongside the established email procedures. |

Yes. At BEPS we believe homework is important. However, it also needs to be balanced as children need time to play and engage in other activities, either at home or in the local community. Apart from reading, no homework is given during the weekend or the holidays. |

When a child needs support that can't be provided through differentiated lessons in the classroom, or following the diagnosis of a specific learning need, they can receive Special Educational Needs (SEN) support. In consultation with the classroom teacher and according to the child's level, the Learning Support team will recommend the appropriate number of sessions. Parents will be informed before the sessions begin. This support will be reviewed on a termly basis. |
