My son has been in Verita since he was over 2 years old, he is 6 now. The blend of academics and social emotioanal learning that Verita has makes it unique and extremely engaging for children. At 2 or 3 years old, I didn't worry about my son's Reading or Math knowledge but I needed to see that he is greeted warmly and with a smile, that he is encouraged to try and fail without being put down, that he feels safe enough to share and to make mistakes, that he looks forward to meeting his friends the next day or to go on a field trip. He loved all of his teachers and made huge progress academically year after year. More importantly for me, he made friends he still has, he has developed a healthy mindset of being curious and resilient when he faces failure and through the Social Emotional Learning curriculum and classes, he can easily speak about his feelings, what helps him feel better and how for example he needs to move his body when he feels anger or how practicing self talk gives him courage to go to the doctor.
Verita has been a warm, friendly, engaging and complex learning experience for my son so far.
Surely there are things that could work better , it's a school that grew fast in a short period of time and there are challenges as well.
All in all, we look at the overall picture and as long as m son says he will never ever move to another school, that's a good enough feedback for us as parents :)

Fantastic school, my son has been going there since he was 4 and now he is now 13. He has a group of friends, they all welcome new students and make them feel right at home. Academically he has been thriving and works independently, he is self motivated to put in the work. I recommend the school to any parent looking for a balance in emotional intelligence and academic performance

I really like the Verita school for: the concept - develop of emotional intelligence, the method of learning / teaching children, food - a lot of variety, made by a nutritionist, at home would never eat so differently and last but not least, I love the energy of the kids and teachers, they are all happy.
Every organization has strenghts and weaknesses, but I appreciate at Verita that they learn from mistakes and their focus is on continuous improvement.

This year is a second year at Verita International School for our 6 years old son. Although there are not many Internationals, the school is really trying to develop an international vibe. We chose Verita mainly because of their amazing enquiry based curriculum which provides content knowledge, critical thinking, and social-emotional learning. The school made the best decisions throughout the whole COVID-19 situation and it’s the biggest reason our son adapted well to a different way of schooling and life. The biggest advantage we experienced here is that our son loves to go to school every day, is not stressed out, is still playing a lot (which is children’s main responsibility at 6yo), but at the same time we can see an amazing academical development. We’re privileged to be a part of Verita and we highly recommend it.

For our daughter, Verita is a home away from home. Best school that focuses on holistic development. We would like to thank the entire staff of Verita for all they have done for our child. The school has not only contributed to her academic growth, but to her overall personality development as well. She has gained confidence and she is more independent.

Verita International School is the place where we've found the right balance between enquiry, active learning and the development of emotional intelligence.

Warts and all review. Our son has been attending Verita for three years now and just loves it. Imagine that, a thirteen year old teenager who looks forward to going to school? Why? I think it’s about the teachers and the structure of the study. Teachers are confident younger leaders who encourage him to think and contribute in classroom discussions. Projects (which are frequent) encourage a point of view and a robust defense of that point of view with extra credit for creativity in problem solving. School also operates on a respect for each other platform, rather than a constant competition which encourages them to work together. It creates in all an environment where children learn to trust themselves and to think creatively as problem solvers. My only negative would be that I think the school is too screen and new technology focused and I do wish the children had to ... read full review

Our three kids have been attending Verita for the last three years, and they are all very happy about their experiences. The teachers and administration staff are excellent, everybody is always very willing to help and to accommodate every request.
They learn more than just academics in this school, they learn how to become real citizen of the world and that is a real plus compared to any other school.
I will agree with one comment below that the foreigner students are limited in numbers but there are now a lot more than before, so people started realizing how good this place us for the kids.
Facilities have improved along the years, and they have done a terrific job for this COVID situation to enable full time schooling with outdoor activities, things than most schools cannot provide these days, so BIG kudos to the team for the extra work this summer and the commitment to the... read full review

Both our kids are Verita students, this is our third year with them. We appreciate the team of teachers, the student and teacher diversity, the playful aproach, the emotional education, the way the school makes efforts to accomodate all and especially now durong the pandemic they all made huge efforts for the kids to be and feel safe. Lots of community events, emotional support for the teachers, kids and their parents, a nice community, we are very grateful for this school.

This is not an international school. It is a private school for Romanian families in which the lessons are delivered in English. There are hardly any non-Romanian students in the school. If you are looking to send your child to an international school so that they can meet a wide range of people and experience different cultures this is not the school for you.
There are hardly any international teachers at the school and all the international teachers are in the older year groups. Not all the Romanian teachers have a native level of English. There are no international hires for the subject specialists.
The facilities are poor. Many of the classrooms are too small for the number of students. The school has spent many on the playground but my child has still not touched a musical instrument in her music lessons. PE lessons are just running around and stretching my child tells me. She hasn’t learnt to play any sports. The art teachers are good.
