The school is all advertisement and not actual education. They only try to make the school look good on camera but not in real life. The students are horrible and the teachers are not professional with the new history teacher being horrible and having all year 9 choosing gp over history and the biology teacher having so many complaints about her because she makes so many mistakes that she shouldn’t be a teacher. Not to mention that there is no academic counsellor to help students. Also with the primary principal not focusing on her department but to rather oppress the secondary. She is not well liked by all students for a reason. Education is not even the bare minimum. They only sit you down at a desk and read you a book and not actually going into detail about the topics, not going into depth about the topic. The school most likely accepts all students, even students that don’t speak proper English which makes the school split in half between international students and Chinese students. Also a lot of teachers have left the school which is odd with the secondary history classes having 3 different history teachers in a row and with the English and geography teacher leaving mid school year. Satit is held up to the health codes that are needed with bird shit everywhere around the school and cleaning staff not being able to clean. Also with the school being like a dictatorship only being there for power over the students and for money with the school having no budget for student events but if it is open for say then they will go out to impress parents but it’s covered in lies. So if you don’t want to waste your money please don’t go to this school.

Dear Rick,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns about our school. At SIBS, we value feedback from our students and parents as it helps us continuously improve and provide the best possible educational experience. We appreciate your willingness to bring these issues to our attention.
First and foremost, we want to assure you that we are deeply committed to providing a high-quality education for all our students. We take pride in maintaining a positive and nurturing learning environment that goes beyond just appearances. While we make efforts to showcase our school through various communication channels, our primary focus is on delivering an excellent education in real life.
We want to emphasize that we have established excellent communication channels at our school to ensure that parents and students have a platform to voice their opinions and concerns. We send out weekly surveys to all parents for each year group, enabling them to provide feedback or raise any concerns they may have. Furthermore, our school management team conducts weekly Zoom meetings for Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary school parents, dedicated to listening to their feedback and addressing any questions. These meetings are held on different days each week to accommodate everyone's schedules.
Regarding the specific concerns you raised about the history and biology teachers, we regret to inform you that we have not received any complaints about these teachers to date. In fact, we have received positive feedback, especially from the parent representatives during our meetings, specifically regarding the biology teacher. We have an established process in place to discuss all surveys and feedback with our Headmaster and School Director every Tuesday, ensuring that any complaints are addressed promptly and personally followed up.
While it is disheartening to hear that you feel the school lacks an academic counselor, we agree that this was a shortcoming and a necessary aspect of support for our students. We would like to inform you that as of the last parent representative meeting, we have taken your concerns into consideration, and we are pleased to share that a full-time academic/university counselor has been appointed to join our team starting in the new school year, August 2023. This addition will further enhance the counseling services available to our students, providing guidance and assistance in various academic and personal matters.
We genuinely value feedback from our school community, and we would love the opportunity to meet with you and discuss your concerns in more detail. Please feel free to reach out to us at your convenience, and we will be more than happy to arrange a meeting. Your perspective is important to us, and we want to ensure that we address any issues appropriately.
Lastly, we highly encourage you to continue filling out our weekly survey. Your input plays a crucial role in shaping our school's policies and enhancing the overall experience for our students. We appreciate your commitment to helping us improve.
Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts, and we wish you a wonderful day and week ahead. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Warm regards,
SIBS Management

Beware of any positive reviews of this school on this and other websites as the vast majority seem to come from current employees with their own agendas.
We decided to take our son out of SIBS because we were lied to. We were promised that class sizes would be kept to a maximum of 25 students. Despite this, the school accepted significantly more students into the class. Rather than create an additional class, the school chose instead to save money and break its promise. As we had already paid the tuition, we would have lost our deposit if we had decided to leave.
From what I saw visiting the school, I observed that the school seemed to be predominantly Chinese and it was rare to ever hear English being spoken. Around 75% of my son’s class were Chinese, which would not have been such a problem but very few could speak even basic English. No thought was given to how such a ... read full review

Nice place, quality facility.

Great school with enthusiastic teachers and a management who like to involve parents and listen. Whilst the school is international/bilingual, there is a very strong bias towards international with the excellent Cambridge curriculum.
SIBS is certainly a school that children love to be.

SIBS is a terrific international school based in Chiangmai. The school offers the UK Cambridge curriculum including the checkpoint exams. The campus is large, modern with some great facilities. I have found the teachers to be warm, enthusiastic, caring and of a high standard. My daughter enjoys going to school each day and really happy there.

“Satit International Bilingual School (SIBS)” in Chiang Mai is an international accredited Cambridge School owned by the Rangsit University.
Our daughter was diagnosed with ADHD, our older son is on the autism spectrum and our younger son had a speech and development delay.
All our children settled in very well and each of our children receives the support to reach to their individual potentials. We saw the best progress in their academic careers and growing self-confidence. From the first day we had the feeling of “HOME”.
Our children enjoy learning in the open, friendly and familiar environment at “Satit International Bilingual School (SIBS)”.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PASSION AND HARD WORK !!!

I have my child enrolled at SIBS, Year 1. As we approach the end of the third quarter and the end of her first year, and I reflect on our experience as parents, I can only convey my gratitude and admiration.
As a family who have recently moved to Thailand, we experienced many trials and tribulations, which was expected, as you leave behind what you're used to; you exchange the comfort of everything familiar with a need to adapt to the unknown and to start anew. I can say with the utmost pride that SIBS has eased our adapting to a new milieu of functioning and that our trust in the school's systems, teachers, management and amiability is secured.
For a child, adapting to new environments can be daunting and stressful. Her teacher has gone the extra mile to accommodate her and assisted with all her needs. The administrative aspects of her schooling has been conducted with crystal... read full review

I believe SIBS is a fantastic international bilingual school. As a parent, I am please to see that the school is improving everyday and my kids are growing with the school. Although it may not be the very best school in Chiangmai for now, SIBS has made remarkable improvement during the hard COVID epidemic time. My children miss the school everyday not only because they have fun at SIBS, but also because their academic abilities have been greatly improved.

I am not sure I have enough time to write a full review on the bad experience we encountered at Satit Rangsit International Bilingual School Chiang Mai.
The first thing I would like to point out is that not every thing to do with the school was a disappointment. That being said, there are a lot of areas that are way below the standard you would expect from a so-called international school.
They have a huge turn over of teachers which is a huge red flag. From my experience this is usually down to unhappy or overworked teachers. During the time my children were there at least 60-70 percent of the teachers in the department they attended left. Some in the middle of the year and some at the end.
Another issue we have had is the school refused to give us back the security deposit and meal fees.
We had to leave Chiang Mai on short notice and informed the school as soon as we knew.... read full review
