Early Years: The maximum class size is 20 children with one teacher and one teaching assistant. Key Stage 1: Years 1 and 2 has a maximum class size of 25 children, with one homeroom teacher and a teacher assistant who moves between Years 1 and 2. Key Stage 2: Years 3 and 4 has a maximum class size of 25 children, with one homeroom teacher and a teacher assistant who moves between Years 3 and 4. VCIS is selective in acceptance of its students. Selection is based on each students’ English, Mathematical and Science abilities. Students entering VCIS will also be interviewed by the English Language Specialist, to determine their level of spoken English. Students are assessed according to their age and year level. |

VCIS observes a rolling admission’s policy. If space allows and the assessment criteria is met, children can join the school throughout the year. However, Years 9, 10 and 12 can only be joined at the beginning of the year. |
