Teaching approach of the school |
Newton British School offers tuition from Preschool to Year 6 following the National Curriculum of England and Wales. All planning follows the British Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. The school is accredited with the University of Cambridge and are currently working towards AdvancEd accreditation. It offers an emphasis on English, Mathematics and Science as well as lessons in ICT, French/Arabic, Music, Design Technology and PE. Islamic Studies is also offered in either Arabic or English. The Pre-school and Reception classes follow The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Profile which came into force in the UK in September 2008. It is the framework for the provision of learning, development and care for children between birth and the academic year in which they turn five (0-5 years). |
