OES uses varied technology in its classrooms to help in teaching and learning. Smartboards are standard use in the lessons. The school also uses a school management system that allows for communication between home and school. In addition Class Dojo is used to supplement school-home communication and support class management.

Homework will vary according to each subject. Some assignments may be in the form of research activities and projects. Working independently is a key skill to developing thoughtful and self motivated students.
As a general guide, your child should aim to spend the following amount of time on his/her homework on a daily basis.
Reception: 10 minutes per subject
Key Stage 1: 20 minutes per subject
Key Stage 2: 30 minutes per subject

All students seeking admission to OES are required to sit for an evaluation test.

Oxford English School provides learning opportunities for students ages 3-11. The curriculum follows the guidelines of the British National Curriculum. It offers Early Years through Year 6 classes. The Early Years and Key Stage 1 classes are for both boys and girls, while the Year 5 and 6 classes are segregated.
