My kid is 5 year old and in year 1 at Al Salaam Community School and every now and then they call us while we are at our workplace for very small incidents and ask us to take the 5 yr. old kid home. They are forcing parents to take an extra LSA teacher which will cost another 3-5K per month. I believe the teachers are not well equipped and trained to deal with younger kids and any small incident that might happen during the class or while the kids are playing they will report and present it as if 5 year old kid has caused a massive choas and havoc in the school. The teachers lack adequate training & skills to deal amicably with the kids and the day to day situations faced in the class. They want kids to be like robots who will stand, sit, play, eat, sleep as and when they command them. Very poor selection of teaching staff

As a parent I took some of the negative comments and reviews with a pinch of salt before I enrolled my children at Al Salam Community School. I seriously wish I took some time into reading more into the reasons for the unhappy parents. The school has its challenges, and some are very controversial.
* Very poor planning and everything is last minute and haphazard
* A policy that forces you to purchase laptops through them only
* Police state data policy
* Staff misinform parents
Its only been 2 weeks and the list seems to be getting bigger.
