Pupils who are more able are challenged regularly with extension activities in the classroom. They can be nominated for ‘The Sheikh Zayed Group’ which provides special inspirational classes and a mentor for each pupil. There are also critical thinking, creative thinking and problem solving CCAs as well as examination preparation activities that pupils can extend themselves through. |

Yes, we have an admissions policy which requires new pupils to go through playdate/assessment/interview process. In addition, parents are required to submit recent school/nursery reports and pastoral/character reference. |
Brief description of entry evaluation required |
FS1 to Year 2: pupils will meet with Head of Pre Prep or Class Teacher for a playdate in a classroom environment. Year 3 to Year 6: pupils are required to complete age relevant CAT4 and writing assessment. Year 7 to Year 11: pupils are required to complete age relevant CAT4 and writing assessment. An interview with Deputy Head of the Senior School will be required in some instances. Sixth Form: admission into our Sixth Form will be based on a combination of CAT4, an analytical writing task; a meeting with the Head of 6th Form; character reference, predicted IGCSE/GCSE grades and copies of assessed mock Mathematics and analytical IGCSE/GCSE papers. |

With the COVID-19 restrictions all extracurricular activities have been cancelled. However, we do have special approval to offer number of sports in the morning before the school starts. This starts for pupils in Year 3 onwards. |
