Learning support offered

We do a whole-school approach to support any child with special learning needs. We offer smaller class pull out as well as push-in sessions to help support the children. We use hands-on resources to help aid in the learning process. We work with the parents as well as the class teacher to help support each student. We create and monitor each child's IEP using S.M.A.R.T goals that identify the student's specific learning expectations and outlines how the school will address these expectations through appropriate accommodations, program modifications and/or alternative programs as well as specific instructional and assessment strategies.

The school supports gifted, able and talented students

In our school, we have a Gifted & Talented Committee that works for gifted & talented students. We review our MAP, CAT & EMSAT test results to select academically gifted students. In our school, we have defined different categories of Gifted & Talented students and based on their talent, we nominate them to participate in different competitions inside & outside the school. We help students to find out and share their talent by "Talent Hunt Show" in order to support them accordingly. Also, we help them to take part in government initiatives & events and provide them a platform to utilize & showcase their talent in full potential not only for themselves but to help other students groom too.

Crown American Private School is an American curriculum school founded in 2005 and is welcoming students from Kindergarten up to Grade 12.

Teaching approach of the school

At Crown American Private School, we will apply the principles of cognitive science were research
has demonstrated the great importance in teaching and learning around six factors: building
on what children already know and feel, practicing meaningful content, linking content to
concepts, teaching ‘organizers’, providing lots of two-way feedback, and developing student
self regulation.
