Language support for students not fluent in English and German	We provide German as a foreign language classes for all students, specifically designed for their level of proficiency. In kindergarten, we have a group for non-German speakers with extra language support.
Additional language classes offered by the school	At our school we start teaching English and Arabic in grade 1, French classes start in grade 6. Students in our IB Diploma Program can choose Spanish ab initio.

Does the school employ teaching assistants?	All our classes are taught exclusively by highly qualified teachers with degrees in their repective subjects.

Do students practice religion at the school? What religion?	Our students take classes in Islam. We provide Muslim students with a prayer room. We are inclusive of all religions.
How does the school accommodate non-religious students or students of a different religion?	We offer ethics classes that students can opt for instead of Islam classes.

Results in these examinations	All our students pass their exams successfully.
Do teachers assign homework to their students?	Yes.
Approximate hours of homework given	Depending on the age of the students, the average time spent on homework is 30-60 minutes and in the IB DP Program up to 90 minutes.
Percentage of students who pursue further education post-graduation	The IB diploma with certain qualifing conditions is recognized as a qualification (HZB) for entry to higher education in Germany. Most of our students study at a university.

Dedicated staff/programs for students with special learning needs	We have a teacher who is specialized in supporting students with special needs.
Learning support offered	Our specialist coaches all other teachers and supports students with a variety of needs, such as dyslexia, ADHS and more.
The school supports gifted, able and talented students	We provide a number of support and extra challenges for gifted students that support their talents, challenge their creativity and lets them join competitions.
Student access to education psychologist	We work closely with an external child psychologist.

Entry evaluation for students	There are no entry evaluations for children joining us from German speaking schools. All other students have to take a German language test.
Waiting list	At the moment we only have a waiting list for Kindergarten.

Students can join after academic year begins	Yes, according to the regulations of the Sharjah Private Education Authority.

Extracurricular activities or clubs offered	We offer a variety of extracurricular activities, such as football, art classes, book clubs and homework support.
Sports activities included	Every student has two hours of physical education every week. In addition some of our extracurricular activities are all about sports.
Sports teams or sport competitions available for students	The school has a football teams that competes in a number of competitions. Every year there is a sports competition day for the entire school.

Sports facilities at the school

We have an outdoor football field, running track, long jump pit and a swimming pool.

Qualities and characteristics best defining the school	The school is situated in a lush green compound. As it is a small school the atmosphere is very friendly and people care for each other. The teachers support all students so they can reach their best results.
