Welcome to Salto International School, where you can be yourself, be international and be Dutch. With its new multilingual primary school concept Salto believes to have found an inspiring balance between traditional international education and Dutch education. |
Teaching approach of the school |
Salto aims to reach its goals via its hybrid international primary curriculum. Around 50% of the classes will be taught in Dutch: as formal language classes (both as additional language or mother tongue level) and also integrated in other subjects, like mathematics and sports. The other half of the time, the children will work with the international primary curriculum (IPC) in English. Of course English will also be taught in formal language classes, also as additional language or at mother tongue level. The IP curriculum covers the following subjects: Art and Design, Geography, History, Technology, Society, Music, Personal and International Learning and Science. |
