ISG is a 1:1 Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) school from Grade 5 upwards. Students in Early Childhood up to Grade 4 have access to MacBooks and iPads. The students and teachers also have access to the ISG Innovation Lab, which contains a 3D printer and laser cutter amongst other resources.. A 1:1 program means that every student in Grades 5-12 will come to school with a portable device.

The International School in Genoa offers a complete International Baccalaureate educational program in English for all students from Reception (age 2) to Grade 12 (age 18) leading to the achievement of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.

The language of instruction at ISG is English. All students also have the opportunity to study Italian (Language A or Language B) and a third language from Grade 6 upwards, choosing among French, Spanish, Mandarin and German .
