ISD is committed to fostering student athletic talent in both our physical education classes and extended day programs. ISD is a member of the All-China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS) association with activities held in various places throughout the country.
In middle school, students participate in the Pearl River Conference (PRC) excelling in soccer, volleyball, basketball and cross country, and in high school, ISD athletes participate in the Guangzhou International Schools Athletic Conference ( GISAC).

ISD is a 12,000 square meter educational facility atop 30,000 square meters or almost 8.5 acres. International school of Dongguan (ISD) is the first international school authorized by the Chinese Ministry of Education in Dongguan.
