About the school
Teaching approach of the school |
Bloom is a future-wise school. Our team shares an intense passion for changing the way education prepares students for the future. We prioritize the mindsets and skills of adaptable innovators and equip students with at least two world languages (English and Mandarin), self-agency, global competence, and the desire to contribute. Bloom uses the city as our campus. Our weekly excursions promote students’ connection to the city and the planet they live on. This regular interaction with the wider community instills a sense of belonging and provides an opportunity for positive values to be translated into caring actions. Bloom's academics is personalized and project-based. We offer Learner Portfolios to track individual progress, flexible grouping, choice in personal projects, and low student to teacher ratios (1 to 9). We integrate design thinking, ed-tech, and STEM into the project-based learning experience so that it becomes a powerful way of thinking and problem-solving. |
