From P1 through high school, students learn to integrate technology into their daily learning in a variety of ways. In elementary grades, students are exposed to computer technology in their individual classrooms as well as in the school's computer lab and through the use of interactive whiteboard technology.

In secondary school, ICS offers an applied technology program which includes hands-on experience in cutting edge technologies, including robotics, video production, graphic and web design, music composition, and more. To effectively integrate technology into various learning opportunities, students have access to laptops through our COWs (computers on wheels) and multimedia Mac and PC labs.

Graduates’ university admission rates are approaching 100% each year.

Learning Support

There is a dedicated program for students with special needs - Bridges. ICS also provides support for students with special needs in mainstream classes. Parents however, should understand that the school has limited resources allocated to support students who may have exceptional needs. It will be in the best interest of both the applicant and the school for parents to communicate the applicant’s needs to the Admissions Office before applying for admission. It is mandatory that all educational, psychological, and medical reports be submitted together with the application forms.

Admission screening.

Admissions screening is conducted by an Admissions Team. Duration of the appointment varies according to grade level. Reception One screening, (held at the Kindergarten,) is usually conducted in a small group format and lasts for 20 to 30 minutes. Elementary screening is approximately 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the grade level, and Secondary screening lasts approximately 2 or more hours. All related assessment materials are the property of ICS. These materials are kept confidential and will not be released to any party.

Overseas applicants are encouraged to submit applications before February 1st for entrance for the next academic year, but are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, subject to availability and results of admissions screening. High School students are generally not admitted after the 20th day of school for the term in which they apply. ICS prefers not to accept students after the start of the second semester unless they are transferring from an overseas school with a similar curriculum.
