We are an expat family in HK. Our elder son (turning 8) has been with Stamford for 3 years now and he is growing up fabulously with the school.
When we first moved to HK in 2015, I was determined to find my son a school that nurtures the kids for who they are, encourages individuality while reinforces good values and principles in life, instead of just focusing on academic study. I went for a seminar conducted by the Principal of Stamford Singapore at the time. And I was sold ever since.
Stamford was the best decision I've ever made for my elder son. All of the teachers my son has had so far since pre-primary has been great. They have their own styles and characters. But one thing I see in common is that they are all passionate about what they do and they really care about the development of the kids. The school's administrative and supporting staff has also been super helpful, approachable and instrumental to make the students' and the parents' life easier and more carefree. More importantly, I observe genuine care-taking of the students' general wellbeing from the Principal to every school staff I've come in contact with in the past years.
Since opening its doors in 2017, Stamford has established a diversified and inclusive community in HK, which is truly a remarkable job. I have no doubt that it will grow more beautifully with its teachers and students in the years to come. And I wouldnt think twice about sending my younger one to the Stamford when he's old enough.
