Since January 2019, BSJ has been in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the introduction of Compassionate Systems training and tools. Our Campus
Established initially in the city centre, the School moved to an 18-hectare estate in Bintaro, 7km south-west of the capital, in 1994. On the edge of one of the world's busiest cities, many visitors are still surprised to find such an expansive green space.
There are dedicated areas for Primary, Secondary and specialist studies, such as Languages and Performing Arts. Our theatre complex includes two stages, a dance studio, and rehearsal and make up rooms.
BSJ is also one of the best-resourced schools in Asia for sport. We have five tennis courts; extensive grass and artificial playing fields; covered areas for games; and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Our Sports Centre contains courts for basketball, volleyball and badminton; a gym and weights room; and a dance studio.

Beyond the Classroom
At BSJ, students are offered the chance to develop a range of cross-curricular skills in a wide range of activities.
We always try to broaden the activities available to offer exciting new choices such as Bouldering to develop rock climbing; Inventions Club, to develop creativity and entrepreneurial skills; and Build and Code Robotics, to develop programming skills.
Students can choose equally from dozens of sporting pastimes and cultural or artistic endeavours, from the delicacy of ballet and the adventure of scuba diving to the engaging mad science and the dynamic rock band. This set of activities is delivered through experiential learning in areas children would not always get access to in traditional curriculum subjects.
