Teachers also use a variety of creative tools to record stories, lessons, music, etc, and engage in collaborative learning and interaction with students. |

M'KIS is a truly diverse international school, serving students from over 50 different nationalities. The school welcomes students of all religions, and there are no religious class requirements. |

M’KIS is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and a full-continuum IB World School. The school offers all High School students a course of study leading to a US High School Program Diploma. The majority of High School students choose the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programme and thus graduate with both an IB Diploma and the M’KIS High School Diploma. |

Students in PreK-3, PreK-4, and Kindergarten undergo a brief, developmentally appropriate assessment. All students in Grade 1 and above take an admissions assessment that assesses reading, writing, and math skills. For students who are still in the process of acquiring English, an English as an Additional Language (EAL) assessment is also administered. EAL support is available up to Grade 10 for students who are still acquiring English. |

M'KIS offers After School Enrichment Programs, Elementary School Extracurricular Programs and Saturday Enrichment Sports. The programs include a wide range of interest-based, subject-based and sports-based activities, such as photography, art, dance, music, robotics, crafts, public speaking, STEM, engineering, soccer, swimming, Tae Kwon-Do, Karate, and more. There are also many Student Clubs and Service Organizations available, including Model United Nations (MUN), National Honor Society, Animal Welfare, Chess Club, Homes for Malaysia, Helping Hands, Green Club, Media Club, Global Issues Network, and many others. |

Mandatory Physical Education is provided for classes up to Grade 10, while Physical Education electives are available for students in Grades 11 to 12. The school has both boys' and girls' sports teams for most sports, and throughout three seasons, they compete in AIMS and SEASAC leagues. |
