Yes. TIS Puchong offers English Support to students whose English is weak, in two different ways. Most students fit the category where they need more practice in English and so they are able to manage in the mainstream lessons. These students will receive support in their English or Literacy lessons. This differentiated support is part of the normal lessons. Students who enter the school with a low level of English could join an extraction group, where they spend time in a special group focusing upon English. Our specialist English Support teachers are trained and experienced in working with children for whom English is a second or third language and are happy to offer advice to any parents who require it. |
