I have 2 children in the school. So far I’ve been very pleased with the care and education that they have been receiving.
The school building is an in-progress renovation of a Japanese public school. The renovated parts are quite nice, and I’m looking forward to seeing the completed vision. There is a full sized gymnasium and an outdoor swimming pool, and good sized sports field.
The staff and teachers are very, very good. I’ve been impressed with the quality of hires that have been done recently. The school appears to actively recruit friendly teachers who are experts in their respective fields. My kids are infatuated with their teachers and have learned so much from them. Their emotional growth has been supported well and a big part of that is also the small class sizes.
There are regular school events to attend and a parents association to get involved in. Some of the events are quite ambitious for a new school- ambassadors’ receptions, university fairs, and participation in art competitions are all recent events that I can recall. All of these are not necessarily for all grade levels, but the relationships vital to a successful international school are being created.
The administration is constantly implementing improvements to the school and they seem to have a clear vision of where they want the school to be in the next decades. The school’s rapid growth in numbers is a testament to that. My family is very much looking forward to the next years of the school’s history.
