About the school
Qualities and characteristics best defining the school |
Le Rosey is a boarding school and its community life is based on this. Rosey students are very united and acquire a spirit of openness thanks to their contact with fellow students and teachers from all over the world. The 420 students at Le Rosey are boarders whose academic year is shared between two campuses: a magnificent manorial estate in Rolle and, in the winter, chalets in the charming ski resort of Gstaad.
|
Teaching approach of the school |
As a boarding school with strong sports, arts and service programmes, Le Rosey’s approach to education is holistic, but academic expectations and success lie at the heart of what Le Rosey does. Le Rosey insists on high standards, backed up by up-to-date teaching methods and facilities underpinned by traditional rigour, and above all, bilingual and bicultural programmes. Rosey students are diverse both in what they know and how they have learnt. The curriculum is international with the breadth and depth characteristic of the strongest national and international programmes and a strong emphasis on languages. |
