We had the great fortune to be a part of the BSL community for the first half of 2020 (February - July) during my sabbatical in Lisbon. Everything about the school - the facilities, the academics and, above all else, the teachers and staff - exceeded my expectations. I can't imagine a better experience for our family. We felt instantly welcomed into the school community, which was a concern for us as a "temporary" family. The communication by the school staff and admin was exceptional. I was never confused about anything happening at the school. My kids made tremendous progress in their academics, even during a global pandemic when all their lessons and classes transitioned to the virtual platform. We loved - while they lasted - the wide variety in the after school activity offerings. Overall an amazing and unforgettable experience at BSL. We miss it so much.

My child is in Early Years and absolutely loves going to school. I can see my child's confidence and love for learning grow everyday. His class teacher is exceptional. She is passionate and enthusiastic and teaches them in fun and creative ways from learning numbers, reading with phonics to social skills. It is a beautiful building with large bright classrooms, excellent resources and outside space to allow my child to explore. Having experienced other schools in Lisbon I can honestly say this school is truly one step ahead of others not only in the curriculum they deliver, the teachers and other staff they hire but the personalised and professional approach they offer to families. Highly recommend.
