The school has modern, purpose-built facilities with 6 well-equipped laboratories, three computer suites which allows pupils and staff access to the latest technology, an extensive library & media centre, four creative art design & technology studios, a fully equipped music department and our new Primary Creative Arts department. In addition, the school dining room and the main reception have recently been completely renovated.

Qualities and characteristics best defining the school

Aloha College Marbella is a not-for-profit educational foundation with more than 900 students representing 50+ nationalities. It is one of the largest and most well-established schools in Southern Spain which offers a British International education from Early Years to Sixth Form (ages 3 to 18). The educational foundation is governed by a board of parent trustees and all of their surplus income is reinvested straight back into the school.

Central to their ethos is academic excellence, as demonstrated by an outstanding IGCSE, IB and A-Level results. However, the essence of Aloha College Marbella education goes beyond mere academic achievements. We ensure that all our students thrive through exceptional pastoral care, a balanced curriculum and an enriching co-curricular programme.

Teaching approach of the school

We follow the English National Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum and IGCSE and, for the 2 pre-university years, the International Baccalaureate Diploma and International A-Level programmes. Students can also receive qualifications under the Spanish system, allowing them access to the best national and international universities. All public examination results match any top international schools worldwide. The excellent standing of Aloha College Marbella was detailed in a report carried out by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in which they quoted: “An outstandingly caring, supportive ethos engenders a highly empowering learning environment, which enables the school to fulfil its challenging aims”.
