We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing, caring environment where pupil wellbeing is at the core of all we do. PSHE is considered a core area of the curriculum with the aim of developing respectful, tolerant and empathetic individuals. In addition, we recognise the need to develop the whole child by offering a varied curriculum. Our chosen areas of specialism are Music and Sport. This, coupled with our high academic standards enable our students to reach their full potential in all areas of their development. |

We have a child centred, creative approach to teaching and learning where each child's ability, interests and learning style is planned around. Differentiation is planned using the mastery approach, focusing on depth as opposed to breadth. Collaboration activities are often a key feature of our lessons providing children the opportunity to develop their teamwork and leadership skills. In addition, independence is fostered from an early age providing our students the tools to become life long learners. |
