I am writing this to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding a matter that has left many students and parents disheartened. It is truly saddening and unethical for the school to fail to recognize and appreciate the achievements of students who have been a part of the SHS family from L.K.G. to Senior 4 and have performed exceptionally well in the board exams.
In previous years, during the awards ceremony, all children who completed their O Levels were invited and honored for their efforts. However, this year, the school chose not to acknowledge those students simply because they did not continue with Grade 11 in the same institution. This is unfair and dismissive of the years of dedication these children have shown as part of the school community.
Moreover, many of these students have succeeded academically not because of the school’s teaching quality but through their own hard work and self-learning. It is an open secret that several teachers lack the necessary qualifications and struggle with even basic English communication skills. Despite these challenges, the students persevered and excelled, yet the school could not extend a simple gesture of appreciation to acknowledge their efforts.
What is particularly disappointing is that this institution, managed by nuns who are expected to uphold ethical and moral values, has set such a poor example. By failing to appreciate the students’ hard work, the school risks discouraging future students from aspiring to excel. Expecting a better change...

Firstly, the teachers are very unqualified with many teaching subjects they haven't studied with a qualification. I've had an instance where a physics teacher kept saying that current and voltage are the same, and 2 years later she still says it to the younger years. Obviously this is untrue.
The school's staff, teachers and admin lack the notion of respect, both for parents and students, racism against arabs is very prevalent and your treatment is often determined by the colour of your skin. Here, being a non-arab is your greatest asset.
The principal is unfortunately incompetent, you'd think in a Catholic school there would be a fragment of mercy and a gateway to teach children what is right or wrong, that doesn't exist. The principal is very headstrong and does not take on board student satisfaction or parental advice or tutelage which is often very disheartening.
