Our Learning Support Department, lead by a dedicated and qualified Special Educational needs co-ordinator, aims to ensure that all pupils are able to access a broad and balanced curriculum meeting their individual needs. We aim for happy and fulfilling education for all.

We develop individual strategies for each pupil identified as needing extra support. The support interventions include: Personalised timetables, In-class Support in Target Subjects, Exam Access Arrangements, Transition Support and English as an Additional Language.

Pupils who are more able require a differentiated curriculum to stretch their ability and sustain their achievement at School. Physical Education is offered at A'Level. Within the School day we offer; Rugby, Tennis, Football, Strength and Conditioning, Netball, Swimming, Hockey, Cricket, Athletics, Cross Country and Basketball. Other sports such as squash, golf and badminton are offered as activities.

We have a full calendar of sporting competitions and matches in most of the sports on offer, ensuring all pupils have the chance to compete what ever their ability level.

The PE department has a large sports complex surrounded by tennis, netball, and basketball courts; and rugby, cricket, hockey and football pitches. Cricket nets are also onsite. The sports complex houses a 25m swimming pool, two squash courts, a fully equipped gym, two classrooms and an dance floor and aerobics area.
