Qualities and characteristics best defining the school |
Etre et Découvrir is a small international bilingual Montessori school which aims to inspire a love of learning while developing the whole child in a multicultural environment. All pupils are supported in building their academic and social skills thanks to the school's wonderful team of French and English native-speaking educators who follow the Montessori philosophy. Children who attend Etre et Découvrir are encouraged to explore their own potential, grow their self-confidence, develop independence and develop a wide range of problem-solving skills. |
Teaching approach of the school |
Pupils continue to develop their love of learning in a Montessori-inspired environment while being prepared for entry into a regular French secondary school system or international schools. Students in elementary classes are taught French, maths and history by a French mother-tongue trained educator who has also benefited from experience in the French national educational system. An experienced English mother-tongue teacher with Montessori training teaches geography, science and English in full immersion every afternoon.
