Our child really appreciated being able to use both English and French at school and learned to read, write and speak well in both languages. The teachers are passionate about the school and are positively engaged with the students. The mixed age classes provide a rich experience and there is a lot of freedom in "maternelle" for the children to focus on their interests, while also having collective times. In "elementaire," the school day is organized more traditionally but the students still focus on emotional intelligence and an ecological understanding of the world along with academics. Living School provides a good education and good life skills. Parents must be willing to engage and learn about the school's educational philosophy as well in parent classes twice a year.

Our english speaking daughter joined Living School after a year attending a french school where she was not happy. The staff at Living School immediately built up her self confidence and within just a few months she was speaking french and making friends. The school also invites parents to attend workshops which teach great techniques for helping your child realise their full potential. I cannot recommend this school enough. All schools should be like this.
