In Nursery, maximum class size is 25. All other year groups (Reception to Year 6) have a maximum of 25 per class. There are three classes in each year group making 24 classes in total. We have 2 small classes of Y7 (about 15 students) and 1 Y8 class of 15 students.

SCIPS has a Learning Support Programme to help children with their specific learning needs.

Learning support offered

The Learning Support Teachers provide assistance to children in all phases during the normal school hours. Support is provided either in the LS classroom in a small focus group, or within the mainstream classroom.

All children included in the programme have an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) which is agreed as a result of consultation with teachers and parents. The IEP contains Educational Targets which are assessed termly at a review meeting.

For breaktime, children are asked to bring a healthy snack that can be consumed without adult assistance (although help is provided for the younger children). For lunch, the children should bring a packed lunch to school or have their lunch delivered to school by 12.30pm.

Orders for lunch are made directly with our outsourced lunch providers by the student's parents.

Yes, we have a batik school uniform, Girls wear a sleeveless batik top with skorts, and boys a batik shirt and trousers.
