Yes, we have Teacher Aides at the Preschool 3, Preschool 4, and Kindergarten levels.

Our teachers use projectors, interactive slides, online resources, and other technology platforms in the classrooms. Prior to COVID, the use of technology was largely teacher-centered, with the exception of our Computer classes and assignments that students worked on online. As we plan for a return to class, the student-centered use of technology will be a continued component of our educational program.

We are an evangelical Christian school, so students participate in Bible classes, attend a weekly Chapel, and participate in small groups.

We are very respectful of students who come from different faith backgrounds. While they are not exempt from the Bible and Chapel requirements, they are invited to share their opinions, ask their questions, and enter into kind and respectful dialogue with their peers.

In Elementary, the only homework is to read for 20 minutes. In Secondary, students are given 15-20 minutes of homework per class each night.

Yes, our DECE program offering Social-Emotional support to our students and recommends outside services for students who need prolonged care. We also have a Special Education program, and accommodate students on Accommodation Plans and SEP's (IEP's).

There is one Learning Support Teacher at every grade level in grades K-6. This learning support teacher is the Case Manager for students in the Special Education program. They also support the students in the EFL program (English as a Foreign Language). These teacher offer push-in and pull-out support for students who have accommodation plans or SEP's. At the Secondary level, we have two Special Education teachers who are Case Managers for our students. They will push-in to core academic classes, and they also have an Academic Support Time for students on Accommodation plans and SEP's.

Students differentiate for gifted and talented students within their classes. At the elementary level, we also have an Enrichment program that focuses on STEM and Robotics. At the Secondary level, we offer a variety of Advanced Placement classes.

Yes, We have a psychologist on staff who meets with students and provides short-term care for students. Those who need long-term care are recommended to use outside services.

Students who go through the Admissions process participate in both an interview and an evaluation to determine their English and Math skill-level.

For Preschool and Kindergarten, we use an "Early Childhood Readiness" assessment. For some students, we administer the Woodcock-Muñoz, which is an English evaluation, and we also administer MAP (Reading and Math) to students in grades 1-12.

Students participate in Physical Education. They can also participate in soccer, basketball, and volleyball (at the secondary level) and soccer, gymnastics, ballet, and martial arts (at the elementary level). These extracurricular activities have been suspended during COVID, but we plan to reinstate them when the crisis has passed.
