We entered the school grounds for the first time (in 2013) when our eldest daughter entered in Grade 1. Since the very first moment when we came to Castelli International for the admission procedure, we had a positive and comfortable feeling that has never abandoned us over all those years. Our daughter graduated this year, and we now have our second daughter at Castelli. We feel blessed to be able to provide our children with the opportunity to attend Castelli International. Both of our daughters are well prepared to meet the academic and personal challenges and to commit themselves to always do their best. Thy also had the opportunity to participate in several after school activities. As parents we have joined several activities too, such as sports day or selected charity events. The school has accompanied our children in some of the most important years of growth and development and has provided all of us with great experiences and memories. Throughout all those years our children were taught by wonderful teachers. The management of the school, I have to say, was always impeccable, especially during the COVID times. The school ground and surroundings are wonderful and the community is vibrant and welcoming! We highly recommend Castelli International.

Castelli International is a parent’s paradise for Elementary and Middle School.
Set on a hill with spectacular views, the children have the opportunity to spend a lot of time outdoors and embrace the school’s philosophy of “learning by doing”.
The faculty and staff are wonderful; professional, organized, very caring and involved in the children’s overall well-being.

As a former student I couldn't wait to give my own children the chance to grow up in this special place. I was so impressed to figure out Castelli has not changed over the decades. When it comes to its core values, to the high academic standards, to the beautiful and joyful cross-cultural environment kids benefit from every day, Castelli really is unparalleled. Students well-being is a taught and learned subject, that gives you the idea of how much the school is centered on a conscious and mindful upbringing.

This school, which I have called home for many years, will always have a special place in my heart bringing up to my mind so many precious memories of a happy childhood, and... so many more to come.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Castelli International. Our children are happy and thriving. From the moment they started, they received a very warm welcome from the teachers, staff and students. The teachers were quick to ascertain where my children were at with their learning and tailored strategies to help integrate them into the class with ease. The school is situated up on a hill overlooking Rome amongst olive trees and grapevines. It's a beautiful, holistic environment. Perfect for the children to be immersed in daily. We couldn't be happier with the choice we made for our children here at Castelli International School.

My 3 children have attended Castelli International School. My oldest son graduated last year and we were very impressed by his and his peers speeches and readiness at the graduation ceremony. We feel that the teachers get to know each of the students very well, and that they do care about their academic development and their wellbeing. The environment is amazing, surrounded by olive yards and vinyards.

I really recommend the Castelli International School. My children have been part of the school since the age of 6. The school offers a stimulating atmosphere and combines session of hard study with free time in the garden of the campus, where students can enjoy some fresh air, play and socialize. Teachers and all the staff are highly qualified and take care of the needs of individual students. Teaching approaches are designed on the needs and uniqueness of each class, thus providing high-standard education to my children.

Excellent school. The teachers and administrators are very open and warm-hearted, and when we've encountered challenges, have been very willing to work with us to ensure our child's needs are met. The teaching approach emphasizes hands-on learning and time spent outdoors. The location of the school is magnificent--up on a hill among groves of olives and grapes, which the children help gather every autumn.

The school works with behaviourist methods such as rewards and punishments. The students get "points" for good behaviour. An example is eating up your plate or eating in silence. When children disobey they are separated from the group and have to sit on the steps (also known as time-out). One example is that children are obliged to speak English even during break from 2nd grade on or even in first grade when considered appropriate by the teacher.
Due to these methods, children are continuously in competition with each other. Criticism is not tolerated.

Our children are very happy at Castelli International School and we are very pleased with the school high standards when it comes to faculty members and curriculum. The school premises are fantastic with so much outdoors space not only for relaxing and having fun but also for learning. The lovely vineyard and sea view is definitely a plus when one must wait for her child to exit school.

Castelli has not only been instrumental to providing our children an adequate level of English knowledge but also provides a highly educational program and cheerful school environment where kids can experiment and grow in a healthy way.
