At the beginning of each academic year, the students are given a simple diagnostic test to see if any of them are poor spellers. If a student scores badly in these tests, the parents are contacted by the Dyslexia Co-ordinator who discusses with them how their child can best be helped. Those students who are diagnosed as being dyslexic qualify for extra time during assessments and special arrangements during IBDP examinations. |
